Water Boom

Water Boom!!! The word gives us many thoughts about racing cars in water. That’s exactly what it is. However there is a famous water Boom in Indonesia which is a water park. So let’s see what it is about.

The number of water parks has been on the rise ever since their inception in the late 1940’s, with currently more than 1000 in the United States alone. In fact, many would find it virtually impossible to visit the state of Florida without being invited to spend some time at one of these man-made wonders. However, water parks have also been gaining popularity elsewhere. There are now more than 600 water parks distributed throughout the rest of the world, and this number is still growing. The greatest increase is now experienced by countries in the Pacific, where the tropical climate is enough to make anyone want to boogie board into a colossal vat of water to escape the simmering heat.

Waterboom, situated in Lippo Cikarang on the island of Java, is one place that offers this opportunity to the city-weary traveler. Just a few hours from the Indonesian Capital Jakarta, Waterboom is a world-class water recreation resort. It uses the concept of its natural exotic surroundings to enhance the tourist experience, and is surrounded by natural foliage that resembles the middle of a tropical rainforest. The park encompasses a vast 3.4 hectares and has a peak capacity of 3,500 people, along with available parking for 500 4-wheel vehicles. The park has prospered in recent years due to rising prosperity in Indonesia and global interest in alternative holiday destinations. Profits have been used to improve the park and provide an array of high-quality facilities and amenities.

The park offers a variety of activities for children, adults and everyone in between, including water slides, lazy rivers, water volleyball and outbound programs for the more adventurous. There are separate programs and sections for adults and children, as well as modern infrastructure, which ensure the health and safety of all guests. Many services have been creatively oriented into the theme of water, making the experience that much more unique; visitors won’t even have to leave the pool to get a drink thanks to the pool bar, and the food court also an interesting place to grab a meal. However, if you’re looking for a little less action and a bit more R&R, never fear! Unlike many other water parks that either offer adventure or relaxation, Waterboom offers both. The resort spa provides a peaceful place to unwind and rejuvenate and also presents an opportunity to experience some local customs.

Once explored, Waterboom cannot only provide physical and emotional stimulation, but also an intellectual incentive. Through its programs it offers a learning experience to people of all ages. Its environmentally friendly practices encourage visitors to support a more sustainable future through ecotourism and to adopt habits that take the current environmental situation into consideration.
